The beach was quite fun! Lots of relaxing, some shopping, TONS of eating, and playing on the...you guessed it...beach. The weather was also fabulous. Last year, we got some amazing storms, but it made for hardly any beach time. This year, we actually had blue sky and it only rained the night we arrived and the day we left. Thanks Lord!:-)

We saw some breathtakingly (is that actually a word?) large waves out by Depot Bay. We actually went to this spot because we were supposed to be able to see whales. No whales, but these waves made it worth it. Here's a good shot that Josh took.

Glad to hear (and see) that you had a great time! It's always good to have some time to relax and spend some time with the fam' (and Josh, too, of course!) Looks like you had some swell weather there, too! :)
Sad...I miss the beach. Maybe i should save some pennies and make my husband drive me down there. :)
