I wish you didn't have to squeeze the life out of 4-5 oranges to get one decent glass of juice, because let's face it...fresh squeezed OJ is the best...even brands like Tropicana can't compare. Oh, and while we're on the subject of oranges...I think that in Heaven, oranges will grow already peeled, so that one doesn't have to go through the arduous process of getting orange in their fingernails and fighting to get the bitter white stuff off the fruit.
ANYWAY...things are trekking along just fine in the Elliott household, despite being busy. Interestingly enough, I have my first professional job lined up, literally the week after I finish my internship! Last year, I was involved in the pilot year of Creative Arts Day Camp, a week-long summer day camp for kids with developmental disabilities, featuring music therapy. It was such a success, that they are doing it again this summer and they have asked me to be the assistant director! It's quite exciting, but I have already started some work on it, which increases my already heavy workload with my internship. Obviously, it's just a short term job, but I think it will be a fabulous start to my music therapy career. Hopefully, I will also be able to keep a couple clients through the agency I am currently interning for. Other than that, it's all a matter of marketing myself, something very new to me.
In other news, Josh and I have already been married six months! Crazy, huh? We celebrated our six month mark by going to dinner at El Gaucho, where we treated ourselves to amazing steaks and the banana's foster, which was probably one of the best things I have ever put in my mouth. They also had live Latin guitar, which we both love. It was a perfect night to just enjoy each other and relax from our hectic lives. Everyone is promising me that I will not be nearly as busy once my internship is over, so I am highly counting on that:-)
Well, time to go get our Saturday into motion. I hope you all havea wonderful Mother's Day!

HA! Yes, I think you are right about the oranges. I'm so intrigued by your career! I've slowly become a lover of classical music, and it sounds like such a sweet, loving thing to minister to kids with disabilities through music. How exciting!
